Rules and Regulations:

• Must be in your senior year.
  
  
• Must be an active EAST student sponsored by your EAST facilitator.
  
  
• Must be pursuing an IT-related bachelor's degree from a public accredited Arkansas college/ university.
  
  
• Before applying for the New Horizons Scholarship, you must apply for the "Arkansas Academic Challenge" http://www.arkansaschallenge.com/

How to apply for a New Horizons Scholarship:

1 Obtain the New Horizons Scholarship Application from this page.

2 Complete the New Horizons Application form.

3 Obtain and complete an Arkansas Academic Challenge Scholarship application.

Note that parents or guardians must also complete the Academic Challenge Scholarship application.

4 Obtain a Letter of recommendation from your EAST Lab site instructor.

5 Assemble the following documents:

• Completed Academic Challenge Scholarship application form
  
• Completed New Horizons Scholarship application form
  
• EAST Lab facilitator letter of recommendation
• High school transcript
